Avoid charging and discharging your battery too often.

The old method of completely discharging and recharging a battery to extend its life does not apply to modern lithium-ion batteries. Experts now recommend keeping the battery charge between 20% and 80% for optimum life.

Why should you avoid full loads?

Because lithium-ion batteries have no 'memory' like the old nickel-cadmium batteries. Complete charge and discharge cycles can cause premature wear. The recommended practice is to charge your phone when it reaches around 20% and disconnect it when it reaches around 80%. Avoid overcharging, which can put unnecessary strain on the battery.
